YOUR STAY ON THE LAKE BORDERS
Located at the heart of a 300h natural area leisure park, the campsite offers a wide range of activities. As it’s bordering a 85h lake, you will be able to enjoy many aquatic activities during your stay.
Having a sun bath on the sandy beach, splashing about with your children in the supervised swimming area… Aren’t you already picturing yourself?
Low season from January to the end of May 2024
During the low season and always in compliance with the municipal decree (n°2023 – 112), then decree no. 079 of April 12, 2024, taken by the Mayor of Beaumont Saint-Cyr following the results of analyzes of water samples from the Lake:
Aquatic activities and pedal boat rentals are at a standstill at this period.
Swimming is prohibited, including for pets.
Sailing activity is possible supervised by the Haut-Poitou Sailing Center.
Individual, unsupervised aquatic and nautical activities are prohibited.
Fishing is permitted. Priming is prohibited.
Scheduled float tube fishing days, supervised and following a protocol, are authorized.
For your security, a lifeguard team supervises the swimming area on Wednesdays and Saturdays during low season and every day during July and August, from 10a.m. to 7p.m.
Also, we are committed to preserving the lake’s water quality. Indeed, the Agence Régionale de Santé assesses the water quality of the lake as excellent.
Another proof of this commitment is the Lac de Saint-Cyr and its beach have been certified by the Pavillon Bleu label in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
WHAT DOES DRAPEAU BLEU MEAN?
The Pavillon Bleu label distinguishes sites such as seaside resorts and lakes offering excellent bathing water quality.
The label is indeed proof of a good water and waste management, aiming to preserve the environment, of a layout making the sites accessibility easier for all, and of an environmental education process.
For entertainment, the lake is fitted with numerous facilities and offers many activities.
